Named for the Latin word for "time," the Alec Bradley Tempus cigars are manufactured in Honduras using a blend of diverse specially cured and aged Corojo and Criollo long-filler tobaccos grown in the fertile Trojes region of Honduras, and Nicaragua's fertile Jalapa valley, and a stunning, seven-year-aged Honduran Criollo '98-grown wrapper. The Tempus cigars by Alec Bradley include the Centuria cigars which recieved an outstanding 94 from Cigar Insder.
The cigars offer a hearty, yet remarkably smooth smoke brimming with dark and semi-sweet tobacco flavors laced with notes of cedar, oak, toasted nuts and spice.

When I saw this wrapper tobacco on a small Nicaraguan farm in 2001, I could see it was extraordinary, something memorable. I checked back on it periodically over the next two years. Finally in 2003, I knew it was ready, and was thrilled by its appearance, flavor, and strength. Two more years followed, for the exhaustive process of sorting and selecting only the finest tobaccos and ageing the limited amount of wrapper to produce the Tempus line.
